5 Steps to Ease Your Mind Before Sleep

When your mind won’t slow down at night, try this simple practice:
1. Close your eyes and imagine a dark screen.
Empty, quiet, nothing on it.
2. Let your thoughts drift in naturally.
Don’t fight them — let them enter from one side of the screen.
3. Watch them drift out the other side.
No holding, no analysing, no engaging.
4. If a thought sticks, gently “wipe” the screen clean.
Like clearing a window with your hand.
5. Return to the empty screen.
Dark. Still. Open.
At some point, without noticing when, your mind softens… and your body follows.
Try it tonight and see how it feels.
