Feeling drained isn’t a failure — it’s information. Your body is speaking. These three questions help you understand what it’s trying to tell you.
1. Why do I feel drained?
Look at the source with honesty.
Are you sleeping enough?
Working too much?
Is it emotional exhaustion, not physical?
Naming the cause is the first step toward relief.
2. What can I delegate?
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
Explore support at work and at home.
Even small tasks handed over can create space to breathe.
3. What do I need right now?
Not later. Not ideally.
Right now.
A break? Water? Silence? Movement? A boundary?
Your body always knows — it’s waiting for you to listen.
When you pause long enough to ask these questions, you stop pushing through and start caring for yourself in real time.
